Diary

Newtown, 25 October 2018, 1:30 PM

You seem to have been hanging out with friends

So today I've been hanging out with friends in Newtown. We've crashed at a Lebanese place in which P ordered for us a selection of foods, among which the hummus trio was the most distinct and interesting plate. It entailed the middle pile which was infused with smokey notes and the likely goat cheese pide, with strong lemony aftertaste. We had some wine and talked about stuff throughout the entire time we were there, good times!

Chippendale, 9 October 2018, 8:45 PM

You seemed to have changed course on your way home

Today, I have come across a peculiar place on my way to Central station. It was called Sneaky Possum, which didn't seem like any other place, despite I have been walking the same route over and over but this was the first time I actually really noticed this place. Was it the neony emblem hanging outside? Still, a cozy/classy bar in Chippendale was an interesting sight. Perhaps I'll come back sometime, eventually?

Sydney CBD, 16 September 2018, 1:30 PM

It seems your mood has improved afterwards

Today, I have been on a lookout for a cup of coffee. The problem was, that I was doing that in the afternoon and I was really not looking forward to visiting a regular chain-coffee-store like starbucks or alike. And all the other places seem to be closing very soon! But I found this one small place, which was rrrreally hard to find! But it was worth it, they served pretty much only one-sized cup, the service was down to earth and the taste was solid. 11/10 no bamboozle.

Watsons Bay, 15 September 2018, 4:30 PM

You seemed to have been thrice as productive as usual

I've been trying to deal with my lack of progress so one idea? Let's go on a trip to Sydney, perhaps to some nicer place and try to get on with work there! And so I did, I went to Watsons Bay and visited places I have not really been to before. I had a popsickle, took a seat by the bay and... carried on with work, a really productive afternoon! I had a skypecall with my mom and then I came back home.

University of Sydney, 30 August 2018, 1:00 PM

You caught up with 5 friends you haven't seen in a while!

So, all of a sudden, it turned out that there were some international days hosted by University of Sydney Union. We went out with a few friends and ate a selection of foods offered, played some weird game in which we had to knock down some pillars and... continued working on our projects. Yeah, the projects...

Cafe Ella, 23 August 2018, 2:00 PM

Looks like you have been dieting and not sleeping!

For the love of God, get some sleep!

Today, we had a presentation based on our research proposals. I'd say it was coolio but it took an entire night to finish the deliverables which took its toll on my wellbeing. The presentation likely went fine but I was in the midst of dieting and all of the stuff just made me really yearn for at least a couple of hours of sleep...
